Marcy Winter Wilkins is from Durango, Colorado, and she graduated from Colorado State University summa cum laude in 2010. Mrs. Wilkins then moved to Waco to attend Baylor Law School. In law school, Mrs. Wilkins served as the Managing Senior Executive Editor for Baylor Law Review. Her article regarding the nature and development of restrictive covenants was published in the Fall 2013 volume of Baylor Law Review.

Mrs. Wilkins' current practice focuses primarily on representing businesses and individuals in a variety of commercial real estate, residential real estate, and business matters, including negotiations, transactions, and complex litigation. Mrs. Wilkins serves as an adjunct professor within the Writing Center at Baylor Law School.

Outside the practice of law, Mrs. Wilkins is active in the Waco community. She serves as a director for the G.H. Pape Foundation, and she is a member of the Junior League of Waco. Mrs. Wilkins is an avid long-distance runner in Waco. Outside the practice of law, Mrs. Wilkins can be found training on her own, running with the Waco Striders Running Club, and volunteering for the Waco Women's Training Program.
