David Dickson is serving as treasurer of the Real Estate, Probate & Trust Law Section of the State Bar of Texas (” REPTL”). REPTL is the largest section of the State Bar, with more than 8,800 members.

REPTL provides support to attorneys who are practicing real estate, probate, or trust law in Texas. Created in 1939, REPTL is the second oldest section of the State Bar.

David has been involved with REPTL for many years. For example, he served on REPTL’s council from 2008 to 2011. David is experienced in real estate, probate, and estate planning matters. In 1983, he became one of only 57 attorneys in the state to be certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in three real estate areas – Commercial, Farm & Ranch, and Residential Real Estate.

A founding partner of Beard Kultgen, David has represented businesses and individual clients for 40 years. In addition to real estate, probate, and estate planning matters, David primarily handles bankruptcy, commercial litigation, and transactional matters.

Beard Kultgen is dedicated to supporting the communities that it serves. Firm attorneys frequently volunteer in pro bono, charitable, civic, and educational initiatives. The Firm also is invested in the revitalization of downtown Waco with its newly renovated downtown office. In these and other ways, Beard Kultgen — which has assisted clients throughout Texas for more than 50 years – strives to better serve the community.
