Rick Brophy, Matt Czimskey, and Jennifer Lindsey Teach Commercial Loan Transaction Fundamentals to Baylor Law Students

Rick Brophy, Matt Czimskey, and Jennifer Lindsey recently taught commercial loan transaction fundamentals to students participating in Baylor Law School’s weeklong Business Law Boot Camp. Beard Kultgen also hosted a networking reception for the students.

Baylor Law School invites transactional lawyers from practices across the country to teach in the Business Law Boot Camp. Students apply for the boot camp, and successful applicants are invited to attend. It is an intensive intersession course held between the spring and summer quarters. Specifically created for students who are interested in business transactions but find it difficult to fit related electives into their busy course schedules, the boot camp offers a practical perspective on multiple aspects of business, along with related legal requirements and implications.

Beard Kultgen is dedicated to supporting the communities that it serves. Firm attorneys frequently volunteer in pro bono, charitable, civic, and educational initiatives. The Firm also is invested in the revitalization of downtown Waco with its newly renovated downtown office. In these and other ways, Beard Kultgen — which has assisted clients throughout Texas for more than 60 years – strives to better serve the community.
