Matt Czimskey is a member of Beard Kultgen Brophy Bostwick & Dickson, PLLC, where he advises individuals and businesses throughout Texas on corporate, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate matters. His practice also includes representing financial institutions throughout Texas in the structuring and documentation of sophisticated commercial lending transactions, as well as providing counsel on banking, corporate governance, contracts, employment, compensation, lending, bankruptcy, and other business matters.
A Waco native, Matt graduated from Baylor University in 2007 before earning his Juris Doctor from Baylor Law School. While in law school, he won the prestigious Dawson & Sodd Moot Court Competition, one of Baylor Law School's premier advocacy competitions.
With more than a decade of legal experience, Matt has been recognized as a Texas Super Lawyers Rising Star. He has also been active in the legal community, having served as President of the Waco-McLennan County Young Lawyers Association and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Texas Young Lawyers Association. He currently serves on the State Bar of Texas District 8 Grievance Committee.
Before beginning his legal career, Matt was the catcher for the Baylor Bears baseball team and later played professional baseball in the Milwaukee Brewers organization. Matt and his wife, Amanda, live in Waco with their three children.
