JaNelle Cobb has represented business entities for many years. Over a decade JaNelle served as attorney in the Office of General Counsel for a Texas generation and transmission electric cooperative corporation, now solely providing wholesale transmission service over transmission and distribution facilities, and several Texas distribution electric cooperative corporations. JaNelle served multiple years as General Counsel for a Texas distribution electric cooperative corporation in the Houston area and as attorney for a Texas cooperative association with members located across the United States.
JaNelle’s practice primarily focuses on corporate and contract law, representing entities in business management and operation, to include corporate governance, drafting and negotiating complex contracts and partnering with national and international law firms with varied areas of expertise, but she has experience in numerous areas, including collaboration with litigators, administrative law, eminent domain, electric power industry projects and transactions in finance and real estate. JaNelle has served many individual clients, principally in wills and probate administration. She was also formerly a Law Clerk / Intern for Administrative Law Judges at the State Office of Administrative Hearings in Austin, Texas.
JaNelle and her husband, Doug, enjoy sports, outdoor activities, church events and spending time with their family, friends and beloved pets.
